To God be the glory

I Love A Cheerful Giver

Give graciously to those in need, and you will be repaid
Not by men, nor let them see, the sacrifice you’ve made
And as you give to those in need, I want you to consider
What you give to them, you give to me, and I love a cheerful giver

The cattle on a thousand hills, are mine thus says the LORD
And there is nothing that I’ve made, that I cannot afford
To give to those who love my law, and honour me today
By giving unto others, who have nothing to repay

For everything on earth is mine, on the land and in the sea
And there is nothing that I’ve made, that does not belong to me
Every creature after their own kind, every mountain and each river
So remember as you give today, that I love a cheerful giver

Give graciously from all you have, to those I send your way
The orphans and the widows, still need your help today
The homeless and the refugees, who are driven from their land
Now need someone to comfort them, and to lend a helping hand

For everything on earth is mine, on the land and in the sea
And there is nothing that I’ve made, that does not belong to me
Every creature after their own kind, every mountain and each river
So remember as you give today, that I love a cheerful giver

Give graciously to those in need, and when I come again
I will reimburse you for the things, that you have given them
And remember, as you give today, from all I’ve given thee
What you do unto the least of these, you do unto me

To God be the glory

What does it profit, my brethren, if a man says he has faith, and has not works? can faith save him?  If a brother or sister is naked, and destitute of daily food,  and one of you says unto them, depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what does it profit?  Even so faith, if it has not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, You have faith, and I have works: show me your faith without
your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.
