Lift up the Lamb of God

For every eye to see

If I be lifted up said Christ

I will draw you unto Me

Long ago before the fall of man

Yahweh had a plan

To save the world from Satan's power

He would sacrifice a Lamb

A perfect Lamb whose blood was pure

And undefiled by sin

Would become the final sacrifice

For those who trust in Him

Lift up the Lamb of God

For every eye to see

If I be lifted up said Christ

I will draw you unto Me

Created to live for eternity

Mankind would never die

Unless they disobeyed Yahweh

By believing in a lie

That Satan would present as truth

To Adam's helper Eve

Who ate of the forbidden fruit

Because she was deceived

Lift up the Lamb of God

For every eye to see

If I be lifted up said Christ

I will draw you unto Me

Yahweh knew before the fall

That all mankind would sin

So He devised the perfect plan

To redeem the world to Him

By sending us His only Son

His pure and spotless Lamb

He made atonement for the sins

Of every woman child and man

Lift up the Lamb of God

For every eye to see

If I be lifted up said Christ

I will draw you unto Me

Salvation is a gift of God

Lest any man should boast

Not of works performed by men

Thus says the LORD of hosts

And all those who confess their sins

And forsake their wicked ways

Will stand before the King of kings

As saints on judgment day

Lift up the Lamb of God

For every eye to see

If I be lifted up said Christ

I will draw you unto Me

We are sanctified by faith in Christ

And all those who believe

That Jesus died and rose again

Would no longer be deceived

By the father of all lies who came

To fool the human race

We will not be fooled again

For we are saved by grace

When the Saviour of the world returns

For those who love Yahweh

The dead who sleep in Christ will rise

On resurrection day

Then those who are alive in Christ

Will meet them in the air

And He will put an end to Satan's reign

And wipe away our tears

I will draw all men to me
