To God be the glory

He Sent The Rain

When the early rain fell on Bethlehem
The Son of God became the Son of man
Who would give His life to set His people free
From the curse of sin that led to Calvary

He shed His blood to wash away our sin
So that we can have eternal life with Him
Upon the cross He bore our guilt and shame
And when we call upon His name He’ll send the rain

Holy Father hear my plea, let Your Spirit fall on me
Come and fill my cup with living water
Feed me with the bread of life

In the body and the blood of Christ
He is my living sacrifice

My stream of living water

When the latter rain is poured out on the land
The tree of life will blossom once again
And every eye will see the King of kings
And every knee will bow and every voice will sing

He shed His blood to wash away our sin
So that we can have eternal life with Him
Upon the cross He bore our guilt and shame
And when we called upon His name He sent the rain
When we called upon His name He sent the rain
