To God be the glory

The Best Is Yet To Come

You can climb the highest mountains and sail the seven seas
And walk along the shorelines in the sun
But if you love the LORD who created all of these
I tell you now the best is yet to come

There are pyramids in Egypt that many go to see
And marvel at the things that man has done
But nothing can compare to what God has done for me
I tell you now the best has yet to come

There are mansions here on earth that are built by mortal man
That many want to covet as their own
But nothing can compare to the mansions built by God
Prepared for us in our eternal home

There’s a way that leads to glory and a way that leads to shame
That many cannot find on there own
But if we trust in Jesus and follow Him today
I know that He will lead us safely home

There are trials and tribulations to be met along the way
That we can’t overcome on our own
But if we trust in Christ and claim His sacrifice
I know that He will lead us safely home

To the kingdom of our God in the new Jerusalem
In the presence of the Father and His Son
We will live forevermore on that far and distant shore
I tell you now the best is yet to come

There are things built by man that are marvelous to see
They call the seven wonders of the world
But nothing can compare to what awaits us there
When the statutes of the LORD have been unfurled

You can climb the highest mountains and sail the seven seas
And walk along the shorelines in the sun
But if you love the LORD who created all of these
I tell you now the best is yet to come

In the kingdom of our God in the new Jerusalem

In the presence of the Father and His Son

We will live forevermore on that far and distant shore

I tell you now the best is yet to come

We will live forevermore on that far and distant shore

I tell you now the best is yet to come

To God be the glory

But as it is written, Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love him.
