What Matchless Love

For God so loved the world that He gave

His only begotten Son

Who came forth from  His Father

To become the chosen One

Who would save the world from Satan's power

So all those who believe

Can have eternal life in Christ

His Father's only seed

O what love, what matchless love

For all humanity

That God displayed through Jesus

On the cross on Calvary

The only begotten Son of God

Is Jesus Christ the King

Begotten not created by the LORD of everything

In the image of His Father

From His bosom Jesus came

To be the only Son of God

To share His holy name

O what love, what matchless love

Has God bestowed on me

When He offered up His only Son

To die on Calvary

God is love, and love requires

A sacrificial plan

To save the world from lawlessness

Through Jesus Christ the Lamb

YAHOVAH gave His only Son

To set His people free

From the curse of sing that dwells within

Those like you and me

O what love, what matchless love

For all humanity

That God displayed through Jesus

On the cross on Calvary

This great love story has been told

And written in His blood

That Jesus shed so willingly

To show that God is love

He bore the cross on Calvary

To redeem the world from sin

So that we can have eternal life

When Jesus comes again

O what love, what matchless love

Has God bestowed on me

When He offered up His only Son

To die on Calvary

O what love, what matchless love

For all humanity

That God displayed through Jesus
