City Of Refuge

There's a city of refuge where I long to be

That was built by a carpenter's Son

Where sinners like me can go to be free

When my life on earth is done

It was built on a hill called Calvary

With only three nails and a tree

When the Lamb of Yahweh was crucified

By those like you and me

When the avenger of blood is after your soul

There is only one place you should be

Come to the city of refuge

Where He's waiting for you and me

There's a city of refuge that no one can find

Unless they are led by the Lamb

For strait is the gate, and narrow the way

That leads you to Beulah land

There's a city of refuge that's calling to me

To come to Him just as I am

Where all of my sins will be taken from me

And washed in the blood of the Lamb

When the avenger of blood is after your soul

There is only one place you should be

Come to the city of refuge

Where He's waiting for you and me

There's a city of refuge where I long to be

That was built by innocent hands

That were pierced for my iniquities

When they crucified the Lamb

It was built on a hill called Calvary

With only three nails and a tree

When the Lamb of Yahweh was nailed to the cross

By those too blind to see

When the avenger of blood is after your soul

There is only one place you should be

Come to the city of refuge

Where He's waiting for you and me

When the avenger of blood is after your soul

There is only one place you should be

Come to the city of refuge

Where He's waiting for you and me

Where He's waiting for you and me

There's a city of refuge where I long to be

That was build by a carpenter's Son
