Come Unto The Cross

You won't know God's love until you come unto the cross

You won't know the way He feels for you

You won't know the sacrifice He made at such a cost

So willingly to give His all for you

You won't know the way the Father feels about His Son

Is the way the Father feels about you too

You won't know God's love until you come unto the cross

That is what the LORD wants you to do

Come unto the cross, come unto the cross

Come see the Lamb of God upon that tree

Come unto the cross, come unto the cross

Come see Christ crucified on Calvary

You won't understand the price God paid for you that day

You won't know the pain sin put Him through

You won't know the anguish when He knelt alone to pray

You won't know the fear He felt there too

You won't know the tears He cried, in Gethsemane

Or see the blood He shed for me and you

You won't know God's love until you come unto the cross

That is what the LORD wants you to do

Come unto the cross, come unto the cross

Confess your sins and nail them to  that tree

Come unto the cross, come unto the cross

Come see God lifted up on Calvary

You will never understand the consequence of sin

You won't comprehend what Jesus knew

That the penalty for sin is death for all who break God's law

That my friend I'm telling you is true

You cannot appreciate the fact that Jesus died

To pay the price of sin for me and you

You won't understand until you come unto the cross

That is what the LORD wants you to do
