Prepare Me

LORD, prepare me for the days ahead

For trials and tribulations

When on that great and dreadful day

You purify the world

Prepare me for, the sacrifice

I willingly must make

To give my all, whenever You call

For only Your names sake

LORD, prepare me for the ridicule

That I must face each day

From those who do not know Your will

Forgive them now I pray

Prepare my heart, prepare my mind

Prepare my tongue to speak

So that I may take Your gospel

To the arrogant, and meek

LORD, prepare me, as You did Your Son

To glorify Your name

And use me in Your service LORD

Until You come again

And when at last, I see Your face

So glorious and pure

I will thank You for Your saving grace

And for all that I have endured

LORD, prepare me for the days ahead

For trials and tribulations

When on that great and dreadful day

You come to cleanse the world
