O Israel

O Israel, why have you forsaken Me

To follow after idols you call gods

And why do you refuse to see

The error of your ways

When you disobey

My statutes and My laws

O Israel

Did I not deliver you from Egypt

And from the bondage of the Pharaoh set you free

Did I not provide for you, in the wilderness of Sin

Then tell me why, you turned your back on Me

O Israel

If My people, who have sinned

Will humble themselves and call upon my name

And seek My face today, and turn from their wicked ways

Then I will hear from heaven, and their sins will be forgiven

I will hear from heaven and their sins will be forgiven

And I will heal their land

O Israel, why have you forsaken Me
