Wrapped In His Love

How would you feel, if I did to you

What you've done to me, time and again
What would you say, if you heard the words

That I heard you say, to me my friend
Our relationship is strained

And it may never recover again
Unless you see, what you did to me

Was wrong

If you should choose, to walk in my shoes

Then you will see, the pain that you’ve caused
I’ve known all along, what you did was wrong

And I hope and I pray, that someday you’ll pause
To reflect on what you’ve done

To our Father and His Son
Then you will see, what you did to me

I try to do the best I can, to everyone I meet
But sometimes it’s not easy LORD

And I have to retreat
But if I give up on You now

The battle will be lost
So I will persevere my dear

No matter what the cost

If we believe, what Jesus said

Then we must try to walk in His ways
Be patient and kind to those who malign

And try to hurt us with what they say
If you want respect for you

You must be respectful too
Then you will see, what Jesus said

Is true

I hope and I pray, that maybe today

We can start all over again
And given time, I know we will find

That our relationship will mend
If we put it in God’s hands

And do what He commands
Then we will see, what we can be

When wrapped in His love
Then we will see, what we can be
