There are Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth

In the BIBLE

And all my possessions, for what they 're worth

Don't mean that much to me

There are glorious visions of mansions on high

In the kingdom of our God

Where Jesus is waiting, for you and I

To walk where the angels have trod

O the Word O the Word, my friend have you heard

It's a beautiful book to behold

There is wisdom galore in this heavenly store

That is worthy and fit for your soul

Through the heavenly gates there are things to behold

That no earthly eyes can see

We will walk through the city on streets paved with gold

And dwell there for all eternity

There is mercy and grace in this glorious place

Where sin cannot abide

And every voice will sing hallelujah to the King

When the Bridegroom takes His bride

O the Word O the Word, my friend have you heard

It's a beautiful book to behold

There is wisdom galore in this heavenly store

That is worthy and fit for your soul

In His heavenly home, God sits on His throne

With the Saviour by His side

And I'm longing to see their majesty

When the Bridegroom takes His bride

On that glorious day we will trust and obey

All that God commands

Then we will see His love for you and me

Through the scars on His feet and hands

We will eat the fruit from the tree of life

In the paradise of God

There will be no more sorrow or hunger and strife
